This Pigeon Forge music theater actually presents several different shows throughout the week. The entertainment is anchored by “Swing Time,” a Broadway-style music-and-dance production that takes audiences on a musical tour through the Big Band sounds of the 1940s, featuring songs by Glenn Miller, Judy Garland and the Andrews Sisters. The high-energy song and dance numbers are combined with gospel and patriotic tunes as well as a musical tribute to the armed forces. From there, the show’s story line proceeds into the 1950s, showcasing classic songs by Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly and more. Strong voices, intricate dance steps and colorful costumes are just some of the highlights of the “Swing Time” performances, which are staged at 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
Meanwhile at 5 p.m. on Tuesdays through Saturdays, Grand Majestic Theater presents the “Masters of Magic” show, starring illusionist Michael Keating, who spent many years working alongside David Copperfield. Also, Elvis tribute artist Matt Cordell takes the stage on the first and last weekend of each month to deliver his rendition of the hits of Elvis Presley, from The King’s early career all the way through the Vegas years. Finally, the Grand Majestic Theater hosts an interactive family show called “Scream ‘N’ Shout” Tuesday through Saturday afternoons at 2 p.m. This high-energy show was specially designed for kids and features dancing, pop music and audience participation.
