This Pigeon Forge music theater’s headline attraction is a musical tribute to the Temptations, one of the iconic musical groups of the Motown era. The show stars former Temptations singer Nate Evans, who began performing with original vocalists David Ruffin, Dennis Edwards and Eddie Kendrick in 1984. Evans has assembled a lineup of singers that is electrifying audiences nightly with nearly two solid hours of Temptations gold, spanning some 50 albums and 50-plus top 10 singles. Throughout the show, Evans shares not only his talents but also his memories of working with the group’s original members.

The show, which includes an opening act and audience participation segments, takes place in the newly remodeled 785-seat Smoky Mountain Theater (formerly Smoky Mountain Jubilee) on the Parkway. There’s even a dance floor for audience members who want to “hum along and dance,” as the group once sang. After each show, Evans and his fellow performers are available to meet their guests and sign autographs. The Temptations perform six nights a week at 7:30 p.m. through December 20.

Smoky Mountain Theater is located in the heart of Pigeon Forge’s Music Road area, which is home to the city’s highest concentration of music theaters as well as a number of hotels and motels, shops, restaurants and attractions.
