Charlie, Jim and Charlie Bob Smith are longtime fixtures on the local entertainment scene, dating back to their performing days at Dollywood in the 1980s. For the past 10 years, however, they’ve been the stars of their own music theater show, most recently at the Smith Family Theater in Pigeon Forge. In all those years, the Smiths have continued to build a loyal following thanks to their endearing brand of music and humor. Their show features an eclectic blend of country, bluegrass, gospel, oldies rock-n-roll, clean family comedy and a trademark repertoire of impressions that have helped make the production a favorite among both visitors and locals.

Anyone who has ever seen the Smiths perform knows that when they take the stage, no matter how large or small the concert hall, you immediately get the sense that you’ve been invited to pull up a chair in the family living room. Their relaxed, congenial style lets the audience know that the guys on stage are having as much fun as everyone else.

Now the theater offers more than just music and comedy. Each performance comes with a Southern-style buffet, complete with portions of Southern favorites like fried chicken, pot roast, farm-fresh vegetables and homemade desserts—all guaranteed to make sure that no guest leaves hungry.

The Smith Family Theater is open year ‘round, with a schedule that varies throughout the year. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. with 5 p.m. matinees also offered on selected dates.
