Smokies visitors who feel the need for speed can get their race on at this NASCAR-themed attraction that’s centered around nine different go-cart tracks, ranging from short, easy courses for young speedsters to the quarter-mile-long Smoky Mountains Speedway track, where older drivers get behind the wheel of a 3/8 scale version of an actual Sprint Cup car. In between is a variety of fun, challenging tracks designed for guests of all ages.
Located in Sevierville, NASCAR SpeedPark offers a lot more than just racing action. The Thrill Zone offers several family- and kid-friendly carnival-style rides, and there’s also an indoor climbing wall and playground, bumper boats, miniature train ride, racing simulators and Dragon’s Lair Fantasy Golf. Guests can also take advantage of this attraction’s snack bar, arcade and gift shop.
NASCAR SpeedPark sits between two major destinations in Sevierville—the Governor’s Crossing development, which is home to hotels, restaurants and an outlet mall, and Tanger Five Oaks Outlet Center, one of the area’s top shopping spots.
