This dinner-and-show production is staged inside a 300-seat theater venue within the WonderWorks attraction in Pigeon Forge. The music-based presentation follows the adventures of the Hoot N’ Holler Gang—a troupe of four traveling vaudeville performers who sing and dance their way through a familiar repertoire of beloved song standards.

You also get to know the character Scraps, the group’s cook, although over the course of each show, you begin to realize that Scraps has his own dreams of stardom and does his best to steal the spotlight. His comedic antics, juggling, magic tricks and audience participation segments complement the musical portion of the show nicely. Even the serving staff gets in on the show, not only bringing out each course but singing and dancing on stage and handing out musical instruments to guests for the grand finale.

Each show is accompanied by a multicourse Italian feast that starts off with a pre-dinner salad and bread and culminates in a main-course trio of pasta dishes—baked ziti, stuffed shells and chicken Parmesan—followed up by strawberry shortcake for dessert.

The show is scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays in January and February and six to seven days a week through the end of the year. In addition to the regular-season show, Hoot N’ Holler rolls out a special Christmas presentation in November and December, featuring holiday-themed costumes and music. Hoot N’ Holler requires a separate ticket from WonderWorks, but discounts are available for packages combining both activities.
